“You can only come to know the depths of the purpose of your life
if you are willing to release those parts of your life that are no longer necessary.” ~Caroline Myss
I’m an Intuitive Life Coach who helps empower others to heal from the past and discover their flow. I’m so glad you’ve decided to transform your life and that you’ve chosen me to guide you on your journey to self-discovery and healing. People often judge the healing process to be horribly painful but I’m here to show you that it can also be fun; a new adventure you’re on.
The best part of this detour is it’s still all about you! And that’s where we keep the focus… on experimenting and trying things so you can see what works so that you can move forward in your flow, feeling more at ease on your life journey.
Life has so much to offer and many of us have experienced success. But what is success at work or in relationships if you’re struggling with constant stress or a lack of joy in your activities? I help you put the fun, curiosity, and excitement back into your life by using a combination of modalities that empower you to heal your past, discover new depths of yourself, including talents and gifts, and implement those dormant facets of yourself to live as your authentic self with purpose and joy.
If you’ve found your way to this page, I venture to guess, right off the bat, that we have much in common. You’re a go-getter, with a Type A personality driven to succeed in life in the ways you were taught equal success. You may be a creative artist, musician, or entrepreneur that thinks “outside the box.” Maybe you’re a high-performing executive or manager. Or a licensed professional. Perhaps you’re a community leader or provide extensive support for your family and loved ones.
Have you hit a point in your life where you reached your goals, achieved what you set out to accomplish, and are now asking yourself, “Is this it?” Tasks. Jobs. Items checked off a never-ending to-do list. Providing for and supporting everyone else’s comfort and happiness. I experienced this, as well. Maybe my story will provide just the validation and inspiration for you to take the next steps in your life:
I grew up on a horse ranch in a small rural town in the Midwest. As the daughter of an inventor and school teacher, I was instilled with strong values and an even stronger work ethic. After college, I set out on my own and moved to Tennessee where I became a Nashville recording artist and songwriter before I eventually became a licensed attorney. My path was anything but easy, and though my journey was exciting and full of a lifetime of great stories, I was burnt out by age 39. At the time, I didn’t even know it was possible to completely burn out from stress and a lack of self-care. That’s when the work really began and I took myself on a life detour of healing and self-discovery. To learn the actual meaning of self-love.
It started when I realized I couldn’t even answer a simple question: Who am I? I kept answering the question with examples of things I did. Though I had achieved titles and awards, I was shocked by how imbalanced my life actually was. No spiritual practice, very little exercise, and a total lack of satisfaction with the activities I spent a great deal of time doing. That’s the moment when it occurred to me to expand my healing journey to include a more holistic approach. One in which I addressed my mind, body and spirit. My whole self.
I had worked very hard my whole life but I didn’t feel like I was in a flow. I was in the state I was in because of sheer force, hard work, and relentless driving effort (and relying almost entirely on my intellect and societal conditioning). So I decided to try a totally different approach. And it was scary at first! I replaced daily, weekly, and monthly goal-setting with a more intuitive approach… waking up and trying new things every day and listening to my intuition to decide what I should do. I signed up for sound healing offerings on the beach and tried hypnosis sessions, brain sync music, sensory deprivations tanks, spiritual discovery, Emotion Code sessions, Reiki, and other energy medicine. I began journaling, painting, playing more music for fun, and resting more. I volunteered my time for charity work. I also learned to say “no” to the things that I didn’t really enjoy doing.
And that’s what brought me back and transformed me into a much healthier, happier, and more fulfilled person. Some of the activities I tried were not things I learned about growing up in Wisconsin, and seemed downright odd. Some experiences were effective for me. Others, not so much. Either way, it all made for great stories. I opened myself up to experiencing new things and it is this concept upon which I built my coaching practice.
I am dedicated to empowering my clients to experience their own transformation journey in a structured, personalized fashion. You don’t even have to take the long winding road, because I cut a faster, easier trail for you.
Say “yes” to yourself and hire me as your guide.
I’m happy to walk your path with you for a little while.
You won’t regret it… and I guarantee you’ll enjoy the company.
